We’re always on the lookout for more partners, mentors and schools to get involved with MFL Mentoring.
Our partner universities and educational consortium provide invaluable support to our programme and mentors through their continued commitment to recruitment and student engagement. The benefits for partners are many with the most notable being increased employability of students, and heightened visibility of language departments university-wide.

Our mentors widen horizons and increase aspirations for learners across Wales by showing them the possibilities that can be unlocked by learning new languages, and encouraging them to begin their language learning journey with confidence and enthusiasm.

This year we’ve worked with 73 out of 200 schools in Wales and have seen a substantial increase in pupils confidence and ability as well as a rise in the number of students taking modern foreign languages for GCSE and beyond.
