University Students

Once students have completed the application process (which includes a compulsory DBS check) they are invited to a Mentor Training Weekend at a partner University. The training will equip students with all the tools and skills required to be a successful mentor. The project will cover all travel, board and subsistence expenses for the weekend.

MFL Mentoring pairs student mentors with secondary schools to deliver engaging mentoring sessions and/or workshops to learners in Years 7-9. The aim of the mentoring is to promote multilingualism and encourage learners to study International Languages for GCSE.
