Mentoring options
We offer 3 flexible mentoring options:
Year 8/9 Mentoring
A student mentor works with a group of Year 8 or 9 learners (approximately 8-10) and delivers up to 6 mentoring sessions each term. The 2 mentoring cycles take place in the Autumn and Spring term. This option is available face-to-face or online.
Linking Languages Workshops
A student mentor visits the school to deliver a maximum of 5 workshops with 5 different classes each term. The 2 mentoring cycles take place in the Autumn and Spring term. This option works well when learners cannot be released for the mentoring during class time.
Mentoring and Workshops Combo
A student mentor works with a group of Year 8 or 9 learners (approximately 8-10) and delivers up to 6 mentoring session each term. The student mentor will also deliver 2 Linking Languages workshops to 2 different classes each term. The 2 mentoring cycles take place in the Autumn and Spring term
