Evaluations
The project has been subject to external evaluation since it began in 2015. This has helped the project to grow and improve. Increasingly, these evaluations have helped us to understand the nuances of the diverse challenges facing languages across Wales and has supported the project to diversify to support our language communities.

On average 45% of our mentees go on to take international languages at GCSE. This is against a national average of 18%.

Since 2015, the project has worked with 143 of the 205 secondary schools in Wales. 25% of these schools have higher than average rates of Free School Meals.

Since 2015, the project has worked with over 10,000 mentees, offering them a new perspective on language learning.
